About

The Golden Age of the Flute! For her first recital with harmonia mundi Gabrielle Rubio transports us to late 17th- and early 18th-century France, and the music of the first French composers to have affirmed the status of the still quite novel transverse flute. These sounds have fascinated her since childhood: a chiaroscuro blend of dance and daydream, with all the poetry of an emerging art of elegance, sophistication and emotion.
